and now our freezer is full.  ;)

Ryan,
Always stoked to see your posts!  You and Staci got such a good eye for photos and angles.  I have been to all those places and my pics never do them justice, but your photos are always on point!!

Was the pack-blood trail vid in the third pocket, above the rock slide/boulders area, or is that low in the first long valley before the first crazy steep pocket?   Either way that is a pretty nice billy for that area!! Congrats!  How do you like 4 fletch?  I hope to see more footage when Staci's limbs get in. I am sure that Staci will drop the hammer soon!

(side note* Try smoking the leg bones for several hours with guava wood then stew em and crack em to get the marrow out and stew for a couple more hours and strain as broth... ONO Pho!) (Another side note** that goat pipikaula recipe you gave me works great with moose trimmings too!)

I will most likely be back to hunt late August 2019 Makua and Waianae Kai (if any goats left there) we should link up, and you should come chasing Wizard Billies with me next November up here in Alaska.  I got eyes on a few monsters! (check your email)

Mahalo Mike!

Yes, above the rock slide area. Staci's limbs just came in this afternoon. We started tuning and if all goes well, we'll be heading out this weekend.

Smoking the leg bones sound like a great idea! Smoked moose must be awesome!!

I appreciate the invite and will be sure to check my email.

Aloha my Bruddah!

Staci's new limbs showed up yesterday.

We did some initial tuning and she should be ready by this weekend.

Nice post Ryan. I agree about taking a follow up shot if you can. A guide in Australia on a pig hunt once told me "Dead is good, deader is better!" He said he had seen a bunch of "dead" pigs get up and disappear when approached by the hunter.
Thanks for sharing.

On her first trip back, we spotted some and made a a couple stalks. We got within ten yards of a few goats. The shot was really steep though and from her angle, she could only see the top of the goat through the thick grass. Unfortunately the wind switched and they took off.
