This is the DFC I worked up on my 54" S-quad I posted a couple weeks back.
So....how do you think it STACKS up  Be honest!

Curve looks Pretty Good it looks like it is starting to stack just past the 28" mark...  Where are the numbers???  I go a lot by the numbers... Things can be so subtle that charts can look very similar...  With my bows I am finding that you want about a 10% or more gain in the beginning and low 5's or under 5% at the end of the draw for good performance...  The chart has a nice smooth flowing line to it...  How did you measure the weight at each inch accurately?? Do you have a number at 9"???  Between 9 and 10" is gonna be your biggest gain unless you go to a lower brace height...
Just looked up the pic of your bow...  Looks Great...  Did you run a chrony on it???

Weights were pulled on tillering tree.  Pulled all lengths twice than averaged the two.(none differed more than .1#)
Haven't had a chance to chrony yet.  Free time and weather haven't aligned yet.

No, that looks like a  54" S-quad..

So I put it into my DFC calculator I made the other day.

I'm not sure what your brace height was, but I just assumed 9" from your picture. I also didn't know your arrow weight so I just put in a random weight around 9gpp. Do you know what velocities you are getting with your arrows? I'm guestimating that you'll probably get over 180 fps if you reach 70% efficiency (which I'm not sure how FG bows average in efficiency). Your SE/DW ratio is about 90% which isn't bad, but it shows that it probably has a little bit of stack.

Bvas

Greg, the actual weights and lengths are a couple posts down from the chart.
The brace height was set about 7.5".

Havent had a chance to chrny yet.

Ok so I re-entered your values. Most every value stayed close to the same although they did get slightly better. A SE/DW ratio of 92% and hypothetical velocity of 180 fps at 70% efficiency (which may be a low efficiency I'm not sure). When you get the chance Chrono it and get back to us. I would like to know what efficiencies people are actually getting.

My FDC curves always look like a a broken staircase.

No, that's a wavey line!!!! :biglaugh:

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, now that's funny.
Skeater who?

Rain finally stopped long enough to get the chrony out.

Numbers look good . What does the bow look like at full draw?
High on Archery.

That is kinda what I was guessing, 177 to 181fps...    Not bad... I think the bow is sweet...  I am not familiar with shorter bows it may be difficult to improve on performance...  One thing I think that can be done to get more performance out of  bow that long is to move the riser forward...

Crooked Stic

Speed is good. Full draw looks good to.
High on Archery.

I don't know about the DFC but it's a sweet looking shorty  :archer2:

jess stuart

I like the profile at full draw, bends nice with slightly stiffer tips, keeping a good string angle.  I think you nailed it congrats!

Shredd

Ok Bvas...  I am curious...  What are your plans after hearing all the Gurus??   :biglaugh:  Are you gonna make some changes??    I agree with Jess...   I think you are damn close to nailing it...  But I feel there is always room for tweaking...
