The way I'm understanding Rob is that once the site migration starts today the new posts and photos posted during the migration will be lost.  That's if I understand correctly.  Some here have been closer to the process and can clarify.

This is very pertinent to All of our topics, but especially our swap topic. My approach is to save any updates to the swap topic to be reposted after the migration is done.  And, I'll probably delay some updates just to simplify the post migration catch up.

Experts, if this is a dumbass idea please inform me!

That's correct, all posts from today on will be lost at final cutover which will be about a week I believe.

... when a forum system snapshot will be taken to begin the Trad Gang conversion/migration. This process will take at least SEVEN days.

In the meantime, Trad Gang is still up and running as usual.

HOWEVER, any new topics or posts created will not transition over to the new Trad Gang.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.  [Not Worthy]  [thumbsup]

Does this mean I can post any thing I want for a week and get away with it? Cause I really have some funny stuff I need to let out, with out getting banned.
Life is to short to pass up anything that could potentially be bow wood!

The website issues are no biggy;  its the free image hosts like Photobucket that is a pain.  I like to look at the archives, ya never know what you will find.  Thats why I  use a Free Host like Bytehost.  It has limits but I'am not selling anything so a dedicated commercial Domain is not needed.  I taught myself HTML coding years ago so I edit my own stuff from the brain noggin to the keyboard to the screen .
