The five year turkey hunt?

This story starts in South Carolina with a fine gentleman named Mike Davenport.I met Mike at Ray Hammonds hunting lease now called Wildthings.Mike was there for hogs and I was there for turkeys.When he found out I had never killed a turkey he did all he could passing up his hunt,to try and get me a turkey.He came close but no turkey.Fast forward a year and a half later he P.M. me to come out to his new house and hunt with him for turkey.We had a great time hunting ,eating and meeting Mikes family great people.It rained 3 1/2 days out of four and no turkey.Another year passed and I get a call from Mike he had a slot open at the Klintworth Ranch a great place in Nebraska that is loaded with birds.I jumped at the chance to hunt and meet old friends and make new friends.Well the third time was charmed I killed my first tom the first afternoon and a jake the next morning had a great time.Than you Mike you are a true friend.Kip
 
 
Now I need to get Mike to my house and get him a Hog to repay the favor.
