Well....it seems that it is almost time for the longnose and spotted gar....maybe all gar..LOL!!!  ...to "get it on" so to speak...

We engaged a few and saw many other way out of bow range this past Sunday morning while enjoying what nature offered (and she was spectacular) along the San Gabriel NE of Austin.  The birds and the flowers had me trying to make my phone camera into some sort of video rig...LOL!!!  We had fun....were inspired by nature's beauty, and luck'd away with some of her offerings.....

April in Central Texas is Awesome!!!

Have a nice day!

You need to take me out there and teach me the ins and outs of this! I did not know there was enough water in that river to hold minnows, much less gar that size!

Izzy

Did some conventional fishing there but never got to sling arras. Congrats.

Bisch,

I'll let you know the next time we head out.  You'll of course be welcome to join us....however...I think that you are sand-bagging...I've seen photos of your bowfishing exploits....and we all know if it has four legs and a hide....it had better hide when you are in the woods with your bow  :)
Have a nice day!

Sweet gar Kevin....and I agree with Jerry, there doesn't seem to be enough water in that river for much more than bait fish!  Nice shootin' Pahdna!

Just because you are passionate about something, doesn't mean you don't suck at it.

Then I guess you'll have to tag along too Rob and be "surprised" at how much water is actually in the San Gabriel near the lake  :)  Might want to bring your water wings in case of a misstep LOL!!
Have a nice day!
