Charlie, You bet the wife and little man were along.  Here they are in a cabin we rented at koke'e state park.  You can tell he's a natural born killer.  :saywhat:

amazonjim, non-res. licenses are $95.00.  all my hunting was self guided, which is very doable here.  feel free to pm if you'd like some more info.

thanks again everyone for all the great comments.

Wow, combining vacation and hunting.  Smart man right there!   Thought most good hunting was on the Big Island.  Will have to keep this in mind if the wife ever wants to go back.

Hi Dan!
Just read your article on the last TBM. According to your pictures, you sure did learned from those mistakes on the article. Very well done!
Feb 2012, I have two weeks holiday planned for the big Island on the Kona side. It is not a hunting trip as of yet, but you sure gave me the bug to rethink that. Now all I have to do is look it up, convince my non hunting wife and friends.
Does anyone know anything about hunting on the Big Island???

bloubow, I don't know much about hunting the BI but there are those on here who do.  I'd definitely turn it into a hunting trip if I were you.

Cam we should do a hunt out here for sure.  and you're right, the countdown is on.  I'll be ready to rock when october rolls around.
