How many bows do I need?

That is the question my wife asked last night. I got an old Ben Pearson fiberglass reflexed longbow in the mail. This bow is for my nephew. He enjoyed shooting my recurve and said he would like a bow like Legolas shoots in the Lord of the Rings movies so I got him one. I also purchased a 1954 Bear Cub reflexed longbow for myself. I can't hardly wait for it to get here.
The answer I gave my wife was,"More". She turned the prettiest shade of red!

The best answer is to always say just one more.

Can't have too many bows. How many pairs of shoes does your wife need?

Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened.

KPaul hit the nail on the head!!

My wife asks the same thing and I respond, "I'm trying to match the number of shoes you have."  :bigsmyl:

Depends.  How much wall space do you have?  If it's not totally used up, you obviously need at least one more bow.

Some is good, more is better,to many is just enough!  :bigsmyl:
My wife just bought me my last one a BW PGA Golden Anniversary. But I don't mean my last one!  :goldtooth:

You just can't put a number on how many bows you need or have to have around.  Couple of rules however:

1.  Never keep a count on how many you have.  That way when your wife asks, you really have no idea of how many there are.

2. Never keep them all in the same place.  (Makes if harder for the wife to keep track of comings, going, or how many there really are)

3. There is no such thing as too many, this is the last one, or I don't need any more.

Same rules apply for arrows too.

This is a math question:

(number of bow needed)=(number of bow you have)+1

Kinda like potato chips....hard to have just one.

However, one good shooting 40#-60# tradbow is all you need.
