Dust Collection System, Etc. For New Shop - Advice?

Thanks, Fujimo - I absolutely will check those out. Judging by your second quote, they're definitely something I'm going to want to have around.

you're welcome mate!
they have  small dust deputy type one for use with a shop vac- right up to big 5 hp models.
you can get the plans for free and build them- or buy them in various stages of completion, from kits to partially built etc.

i have discovered ( by reading and reading and reading) the key to these dust extractors is all about the geometry, the sizes, angles, hp, pipe size- drag co-efficient etc, are absolutely critical.
just taking a 5 gal. bucket and putting a hose in and a hose out- just doesnt cut it!
