11/16" seems huge to me, but you can string her up and look at brace and drawn a bit and see where you want more bend.....

Yeah, I have to clean each time I work in it. Unfortunately that open space is not waiting for me to be able to afford more tools, that's where the Mrs. gets to put her car at night.

Yup...  11/16 is wide... I like just under 1/2"... You got plenty of room to play with... Like Kenny said, See where she is bending and adjust from there...  Narrow tips are faster...
