With construction season winding down for winter, I need to kick the bow shop up a notch or two.

Any interest in ready to use bow forms? I have a 58/60" air hose form done and going to put on my site tomorrow.

How about bow blanks off my designs? Could do a custom version with your choice of woods and clear or color glass. Either tillered or just glued up for you guys who want to try one without making a form to see how you like it.

All input welcome!     :)

Thanks
Kenny

Sure ole boy. I'll take a trilam blank off ya. Osage belly, red elm core and boo backed. Horn tip overlays.  :)  XO

So..It looks like Mr Kenny is going to start selling bow forms and bow blanks and Mr Roy is still trying to be a comedian... I'm sure Kenny could build a fine trilam on his long D/R longbow form

I think Bow blanks is a great idea!!  Forms might be too!

May be a good idea for those who want to try building but not fully persuaded to try. Wondering if shipping charges might be an issue on bow forms?

great idea i think!
a lot more people out there shooting bows than building them.
many folk just want to get their feet wet without all the expense.
Roy should also start producing some tri lam blanks- thats a good idea too- seriously!!

Roy from Pa

I thought about it, Wayne. I'll prolly send ole Kenny one so he can build himself a real bow..   :)

fujimo

i betcha!   :D
your bows are beauties though!!!

A "you-finish" KennyM longbow would be too tempting! It is a little intimidating messing around with the form aspect of building a hybrid, so having either the form built ready to go or a glued up blank would be awesome.
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.

I think it's a great idea.

Hey folks! Had some interest looks like. Shipping to Amarillo,TX for the 58/60 form with hardware is $ 44.50 according to USPS

So , not too bad!

Roy, was that a real bow you had a pic of when you were huntin?

 :D

Another vote for the bow blanks.  An option like that could alleviate many of the shipping issues associated with getting some of the individual building components overseas.  I would probably buy a form too, but I think the APO system would refuse to ship it based on size.  Ready-to-glue kits with form plans could also be successful, I would buy one for sure.

I think the bow blanks would sell pretty good.  It gives one a chance to have a bow that he/she can put some of their own mojo in.
It would give others like myself who hate building forms a chance to try out a new to them design.

Carpdaddy

Your going to get yourself so busy that you will have to get Roy to come over and help! This will also require more designs to sell.
Hope you do good, you have certainly helped many of us get into building bows already.
