On trad gang that would be interested in showing a new guy the ropes ? I've always wanted to build a laminated bow but just don't have the confidence to tackle it myself

Do you attend the KY.Tradfest ? You may find someone there. I am 200 miles so that would not work.

There is a small gathering of selfbow builders in Richmond KY every March.  You won't find any laminated bows there.

I go to trad fest every year but never really talk to many people just visit the vendors and shoot the 3d course I'll check into that this year though

A friend hosts it at his house.  There's maybe 8-10 guys there each year.  We have a small 3D range.  We usually fire a few guns too.  I've been known to supply some tannerite.  It's a good group of guys.

I am in Corbin Ky, about an hour away, may or may not be too far. I am at the Tradfest every year and build a few bows. We may be able to get a little time to build you one. But I build after the season. PM if interested.
