I'm looking for a small game video, something just about going outin the  woods and having fun!   squirrel, rabbit, ground hog,  maybe pheasant and upland foul.  and throw in some bowfishing.

I'm really want a video thats different, not your run of the mill big game video.

is anybody else feeling the same?

I would like to see a video of hunters just getting back to the basics,   :campfire:   Stump shooting , shooting the bull, cooking up all those rabbit and squirrels over a campfire.

Maybe if GOD would bless me with a video camera.   :archer:

Man, I know what your talkin about. I could really rant about this but I'll bite my lip.   :banghead:   . I always thought dan fitzgerald did an awsome job on his video of Grand slammin small game and predators. I had it but just sold it. If you can find that one, Its a good one just like you described. All with a wheely bow, he aint shootin stumps but he does practice on round bails,3d tartgets, ground hogs, rabbits, fox, coyote, jack rabbits, porcupines, coons, a mouse, snakes, and he shows you how to cook it all. He's got a heck of a way to light they old barbecue too.

I like the Fitzgerald videos. They have good ethics and show more than just a kill shot. They show the completion with a cooking segment. Dan Fitzgerald I beleive has some older clips with using a longbow. I'd like to get my hands on them if I could find em'. They did one show on hunting ground hogs and then how to cook them. Most people shoot those and toss the carcass. I've never tried woodchuck, but I probably will next time I get one because of that segment. BTW there was one show were Dan F. shot a carribou at 70yds. He ws using a compound but instinctivly shooting. Thats impressive to me.
My daughter and i are going to film some small game hunts. I'll post them in the members section when I get some good footage.
Just one more step please!

There was a thread about a year or so ago. I can't remember the fella that wanted videos to do exzactly what you want to do.

Quotestill think we should make our own video.

That's a good idea.  I am sure there is somebody here with the capabilities to make one.  Why can't everyone make and send in a short segment hunt or shooting tips etc.  You know 10mins or so and then they could be editited into a video.  i would surely pay for something like that.

I have a basic video editing format on my computer.

Before a project such as this is started permission from Terry and Rob, owners of TradGang, would have to be received, and it would need to conform to the guidelines they provide. There are copyright considerations involved here that need to be addressed by Terry and Rob.

I have offered to do the editing, menu design, graphics, and create the master, but only if this were a TradGang approved and supported project.

Tom Mussatto How do I contact Terry and/or the proper people to find out if the tradgang folks can contribute footage of hunting everything from small game to big game to shooting tips etc to make a video.  I think it's great idea.  It wouldn't have to go public we could sell it for cost to make it or a little more and sell it to tradgang members and donate the profits to a good cause(that has to do with the hunting community).

buck-tamer00

i think we should limit to how big the big game should be,like nothin bigger than a hog,
u know, somthin u cant already get at 3rivers.
