Generally speaking how much weight can you safely take off a set of take down limbs?
I have a set of number one limbs for my bear takedown that I would like to have the weight reduced on.  I don't know if it matters but I draw roughly 29 and a half inches and want to stay within safe parameters.

On average you can get about 10% of original weight.
