Maybe I e lost it but I think that bow would be totally fine with that lump.

That section would be extremely stiff. Also Binghams recurve uses not taper in the limb, so the outer limbs tend to be very stiff anyway.

I never was a big fan of the Coreflex/Superaction
wood, and I'am still not

Black fiber glass on the belly of the riser to cover up some of the coreflex stripes
