I have an 18" grizzly band saw with 3/4" 4 tip blade.  As I was going to saw a board the teeth caught twisting the blade and jamming into the wood.  Does anyone know how I can fix this blade?  Tried using pliers and twisting but it's making it worse.

Can't think of a good reason to try to fix it.

I think you would be asking for trouble, from a safety standpoint and from the point of view of getting accurate cuts.

Bite the bullet and buy a new one.

Better solution all around, IMHO.

Agree I just don't trust one once that happens.

It can't be fixed properly. I use blades like that to make wooden bow saws, as long as they are still sharp.

Wood carver....what a great idea! I've been trying to think of a use for all the used blades I've still got.

Dave, your bow saw idea would make a good how to topic.

I'll take some pictures of a saw taken apart and assembled to show how it's made. They are really simple to make.
If it's ok with the mods, I'll post here on the bench as these are handy for someone who doesn't have a bandsaw for cutting out risers and sight windows.
