Shell, you getting tired of shovelling already?  If I had the time off, I'd stay in the islands for a month and try to hunt as many different spots as I can.  Unfortunately... had to use a bunch of vacation for a moose hunt on Newfoundland in Sept. so we will have to live with what time we have.
Tired of shoveling,  I would say so Kevin!!  :help:
The snow blower ran out of gas past the side door and the street plows buried us in at the end of the driveway. It would'nt be so bad if the snow was'nt so heavy (about 20 inches or so)!! Now I am going to treat myself to some Chocomacnut Kona coffee compliments of Jerry and Cara!! My brother came to pic up Frank this morning for work and I am bracing to get the rest dug out in a bit. No time for the ache in my side so the Kona   :notworthy:  Are you sure you don't need a luggage caddy???  :notworthy:    :D

dougers

this is really ironic...i am going to HI the first week of june.  i have a wedding to go to, but i dont think the girlfriend is going to let me use a day to hunt....she is JUST my girlfriend though...haha.  i will be on my two week leave from iraq so i plan on doing a lot of "nothing" but, now you guys have me itching to see if i can slip away for a day.

Go over to the *********** and PM Ojibwa, an Hawaiian resident of Native American descent and a traditional bowhunter.

He should be able to give you all of the information you need.

Jumper came down, ( Oahu), with the Medevac unit from Alaska,( they're covering the islands while the 25th is in Iraq), we barly arrived at the ranch before Scott (Jumper) is out stalking this pig bare foot!

Me too Andrew,  Sorry for my hyjack as well, I get carried away at times and excited when I see someone gets to go to paradise. Very happy for you and your family  :)

Jumper

Doug,
You are going to have a blast with Jerry, Donnie, and Manny. Great guys and a great location to hunt. Just wear some sun screen!  :D   And yes, Allyson and the boys are still up north in Alaska enjoying a cool -40 below zero or so right now. You have to love that. Do you think she will put aloe on my sunburn?!?!?   :knothead:

No hijack issues here  :)  The more discussion about hunting Hawaii the better.  I sent in for my exemption letter and now we are scheduled to be in Kona April 15-23.  Wahoo!!!  :bigsmyl:

Scott your skating on thin ice buddy!

kalua pig

If parker ranch doesn't work out for you, let me know.  I've got a couple good spots for goat,  and some local friends who would love to have bowhunters come after the pigs running on their land.  There are moufflon up Mauna Kea, and turkeys everywhere, ( seriously they walk through your back yard here).  You do a service to the islands by hunting non-native species here.  Big island doesn't have the axis deer, though.  Have to go to Molokai and Lanai for them.

Doug Campbell

Oh man Scott from my experience with those MO Hillbilly girls I'm guessing your just gonna have to suffer Buddy  :D

We might just cross paths Andrew, we don't fly back this way till the 18th.

Can't wait Jerry and looking forward to seeing Manny's bows as much as anything!

Paul, after spending a little time on Molokai I'm not sure those axis are anything but ghosts anyway.   ;)
