I finished this one up a month or so ago...  Been too busy to get pics until recently!

So, I call this a 46" bow (measured along the back profile) however, it uses a 40" string....  so under ATA/AMO standards, this is actually a 43" Recurve  :)

The full draw pic is at 28".  This design opens up more mid-limb to nock as it's drawn.  It will go to 30" no problem.  I use a 2-finger draw (a "Toelke" draw).

This one is 65@28... and that's the MAX weight I make this one... actually I normally do 60# max draw weight on this design...  This was built for a 26 1/2" draw (60#).

Lots of fun to shoot, surprisingly quiet with no silencers.  Personally, I shoot this design every bit as well as a 66" R/D.

That's one cool looking short bow.  Beautiful wood and beautiful work!
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

Sweet little unit for sure!!!!

What's the brace height on it?

Wow what an awesome little bow. Do you know what the longest draw length you could get from one of these if the max weight is 68? Grats

This design will draw to 30" with no stacking - I have taken it to 31" with no problems  :)

Because of the extreme design and stresses on these limbs, I don't like to go above 60#, regardless of draw length -- however this one is 65@28 and is doing great shooting at a 28" draw, so I might start offering up to 65# -- I still need to test this one more to be sure...

That is a fine bit of craftsmanship.

I am guessing you used a form to make this bow.

Would you be willing to share the dimensions or post a picture of the form?  This is assuming that you are not doing this professionally and it is a trade secret.

wow!!! that is insane way to short but man i sure do like the look of it well done Jon
