where can you get fullerplast?

I hate cleaning up a paint gun along with all the other mess involved. If I spray 4 quarts on a car it doesn't seem like such a big job but 2 oz. on a bow would drive me nuts.

The spar urethane sounds interesting. Is it very waterproof?

Mike Mecredy

Yes, it's exterior.  But with anything else, I'd imagine if you left it under water for a month or so it would ruin it.

James, when you finish 4-5 bows at a time it's not a big deal cleaning it up afterward.

I used Varathane water based spar urethane on the last bow I just finished and I will definitely use that again.  Dried fast, very low odor-almost none, and I was able to recite within an hour.  Hopefully it will stand the test of time.  Sure looks good to me right now.

I see I can get that varathane water based spar urethane locally, so I am going to get a can for my next bow, I love spar urethane but I hate the fumes.

use it in a well ventilated place and use some sort of high quality breathing protection.  Otherwise, you're asking for trouble.
