Finished up this white oak board I started many moons ago. I stripped the backing a few times and the stave has been in a corner forever. I think it has earned the right to be my 3d bow this year. 45#@28" and 67 " ntn.

It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

Another nice bow, Rob. White oak makes a great bow but few folks use it as a bow wood.

My dad told me that years ago my grandpa really liked white oak for bows he built. So far I have been impressed with it.
