I am on the verge of laying sinew on a little Osage bow that is pretty snakey.
Any of you sinew guru's have some hints for me ?
ie: laying it on straight or follow the "grain" so to speak.
Thanks guys, looking forward to some helping hints.
Regards.

Bert, I've not done it but it sounds tricky. I think I'd follow the grain and be very sure the bending does also. Looking forward to seeing the results. If your regular bow making is any indication, I'm sure it will come out nice.

I've done it. Just follow the grain and do everything else the same as any other sinew job. Don't make it any harder than it has to be.
