Hello everybody...New here.I'm currently trying my hand at building a longbow.Bamboo backed ipe...any help would be appreciated.

There is currently a thread called new bamboo backed ipe bow, you could read through that and also use the search function and look for build alongs.
 Post pictures and ask questions as you start this bow, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of help here.

Thanks...I've got the backing glued on and was going to cut out,but blew a tire on my band saw.I've wanted to build my own for alot of years,just never got around t it.I did find some purple heart and curly maple might use for riser.

I knew that name sounded familiar.

I camped at Wyalusing State Park a long, long time ago.  Beautiful area!  Gotta go back there one of these years.  

Yeah I hunt pretty close to there.

Wish I would of read threw that build along before I started this one...there's some stuff I would of done different.
