glued up a limb last night, pulled it off form at 4:30pm and got another on form cooking by 5:30.. pulled belly tape off to get a peek at the Chestnut Burl veneer.. the pic is the top veneer in above picture..

Thanks,I like using Burl veneer, first time I have used Chestnut Burl. I am planning on using them for  3D target shooting..Thinking about using Royal Ebony (Black/white) in the next limb set, in Hunting weight..

My Brother in Law suddenly died a week ago.  He was an awesome husband to my sister for 30 years and father of their 4 children. I havnt been in my shop since his passing. I think later today I'll open the doors and see if I can get started on a set of New limbs.

Got started on a set of ILF long limbs today. I got some clear glass that looks pretty clear..so I am gonna use some "Royal Ebony" veneer in my next set of limbs..I got the veneers cut, glass cut and taped, started on the wedges but quit so I could warm up some Venison stew for supper..  

That's going to make some nice looking limbs!!

Well, today I logged into TG for the first time in a couple weeks. I don't know when I was in the shop last or even when I picked up my bow last.

Looks like there's lots of catching up to do. And I don't just mean on TG posts. Probably need to work on the whole work life balance thing a bit more.
