This is my first attempt. I started on it before I bought the BB 1 and 2, and prob before joining the site. So some of the things I did were prob not correct. I started with a red oak board, and also glued on a piece of red oak on the back.(at the time I figured any backing was better than nothing) since the board was not perfect to start with. Anyway the prob is I took a little chunk out of the belly, also there is an  area where the back  did not make a good  good glue connection. There seems to be a slight hinge where the chunk is. (just above Steves head, the cat,). How should I proceed?

The chunk out of the belly shouldn't be a problem.
Fill the voids in the glue line with super glue.
The left limb seem to be bending good, the right is a bit stiff.
If you are still on a long string it is time for a low brace with a regular string.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!
