I'm building a pair of TD longbows as I have time. Plan is to have me hunt one and my Bro the other for a year or a few years, then hand em over to my 2 boys. Hopefully have some old guy mojo by then and maybe a bit of blood on em.

Finished #1 yesterday, so here are a few pics. Will have the other done in a couple weeks.

Sent this one home with John, he has tomorrow off work, just in time for turkey season. I gotta work til Friday , then I'll be out but with an older bow til I get #2 done.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

Hey Kenny - well done! I love the look and I really like what you did with the limbs and how you tied them into the riser. I just may have to steal that little tip. If that is ok by you...   :D

Never been a big fan of take down longbows , mainly due to the 'stuck on' appearance of the limbs but you sure hit the mark with these. Very nice Kenny!

No overlays on the back of that rise!
It"s beau-ti-ful

Nice one kenny

Thanks guys!!

Roy, did you bribe my wife into sending you those pants? I haven't been able to find em for awhile. They was comfy too!!

Cameron, I glued a matching piece on the riser back so I didn't have to fit things so much. Just stopped it square where the limbs would clean up and reach it. If you leave it square, you can grind the limbs to fit and the pad angle will make it so the limb doesn't bind up putting them on.
Stay sharp, Kenny.
