Your friend should be stoked! Nice job!

Robertfishes

I buy from Trad Gang sponsors when I can. Amberboo tapers were from woodgallery295, I used Krystal dull finish, smooth on epoxy and phenolic limb tips from Big Jim , self adhesive leather rest material from 3Rivers.,

Bob, he hasnt seen it yet..I just shot it about 20 times..its longbow quiet and pretty much dead in hand at the shot, it is very light in hand too. I like a heavy riser myself but i could get used to this one on the 3D range

very nice- REALLY like the riser

Wolftrail

That riser section is very nice.  That bow has all the curves in the right spot.      :)

Very good looking woods, I really like the curves to it too. You're friend is going to love it!

I think we sometimes get carried away with multiple woods in risers, fancy inlays and overlays and all the bling bling when at the end of the day the cleanest, classiest bows are the ones with simple nicely figured solid woods.

WELL DONE!!

I love that riser wood.  Your narrow tips are a design feature that I admire.

Thats just a plain eloquent, very good looking bow.

I imagine the smaller limb mass might contribute to the quietness?I also like the curves too.

Thanks guys, This bow was a real pleasure to build..every phase of this build went smoothly. For this build I used a form I made in 2009. A slightly modified "Binghams" 58 inch recurve design. As you can see I did not use any overlays on the belly side, it really is a plain bow..with pretty woods..I did make the tips a little narrower than normal, they are 9/16" wide at string groove. I usually make them no narrower than 5/8" on a recurve..
