Hi
I finally decided to post on this forum. I have been a long time lurker a learned a lot from all of you guys, for which I thank you. I made my first R/D bow last summer. I only had cheapo tablesaw that I borrowed from my friend and jigsaw. It was an eventfull journey making most of the things with handtools. Worst part was making the form square with rasps and files       and sandin the riser fades by hand which resulted in not so perfect glue lines. The only glass i could find was the one from Bearpaw and it has a lot of streaks. If i figure out how to post pictures I will post them asap.  Sorry if my english is not perfect.

hope this works

Ok it worked:). Riser is made from padouk and limbs are actionboo all paralels, because I was on tight budget and couldn't afford to buy tapered laminations.

Looks great. Well done for your first bow.

(And your English seems better than mine, although that's a low bar to clear.)

You have done really well for your first R/D, I can tell you put quality into your work! So, what is on tap for the next bow?

Hi thanks to all of you for your kind comments. I didnt use hotbox but it was glued when the temperature was over 25°C an I used R&G epoxy L and hardener L which is cold curing. Now I`m making one for my friend. Will post pictures later.

Nice job! Glad you showed it to us!

I forgot to mention it is 64" 49# at 28". My target weight was 40-45# so it came bit heavy for me so I'm going to make new one for me using KennyM plans.
