That is super nice!

Canary Wood is truly one of my favorite veneers. I would love to get a piece large enough to use as a riser. I have only found the canary wood as veneers from Troy's site a while back.

If you can share where I can get my hands on some I would sure appreciate the info...

I got mine from Ralph Morris he goes by rmorris here. Send him a PM and maybe he has some.
I built a bow case out of a Plano arrow box and some blue backpacking mattress pad from walmart.

sorry I'm new at this   Thats a really nice bow and case.  I know World Timber Corp has canary wood,  the only problem is shipping.  They only ship ltl truck to commercial locations.  I have not ordered from them yet but they have nice looking woods

Galen, that is one good looking bow! I am glad you got it made and hope to shoot whit you and the grandkids up at the SCBA this summer. Also, the more I look at that chunk of canary wood I a kinda thinking it could be tulip wood. It looks nothing like all the other canary wood I have but looks and smells like tulip. Kinda interested in what you think on that and you get any of that curly wood in that bow?

Getting tough getting the girls to go shooting now that they're either in college or have gone to work somewhere else. Dang they can't be that old I'm not  ;)
I didn't notice a tulip smell when I worked this wood and I looked up both tulip and canarywood pictures and they are very similar.
