A quick question for you glass bow experts!  I have made ONE glass bow to date so I don't know much.  It did turn out just fine on draw weight.  It is a bigham design 62" hybrid.  I used:

.05 glass
.105 taper action wood
.06 parallel action wood
.06 parallel action wood

total - .330  weight ended up right at 47# @ 28

For my second bow, I want to add a strip of c-tuff in the limbs.  I got some .04 glass from Kenny's "close out" a few months ago as well as the c-tuff.

If I used the .04 glass, kept the core lams the same, but added the c-tuff, what should I expect in the same designed bow?

I guess what I am saying, is I don't know how the c-tuff affects the draw weight of the bow.

Thanks,

Mitch

I have never used the coretuff in limbs but, have used uniweft a few times.  Seems to come out about the same as an equal thickness of wood.  Possibly just a hair heavier, not a bunch of experience with it so proceed with caution and crossed fingers.
