Hello,

I have a new bow on it's way (production) that I would possibly like to add a verse on the limb of.

After searching around I decided on a Sakura Pen touch Xtra fine tip pen for the writing, now I'm curious what you'd use over the writing to protect it, or would you just leave it be?

Thanks.

Use a regular fine felt tip pen, let it dry and just spray polyurethane water base over top. It should not smear.

India ink is more permanent. Once it dries spray poly should cover it well. If your bow is shiny use gloss, if dull use flat poly.

I use white calligraphy ink and a extra fine point calligraphy pen. A few quick coats of Tru oil will keep it in place.

I believe it was Apex that I saw recommending the Sakura Pen touch at one point, hence why I bought one. I've tried using india ink and a quill pen, but I was pretty terrible at it.

I was looking for more of an actual 'pen'.

Any of these finishes should blend with the existing finish? I've always used tru oil so it'd be great if that blends.
