Riser help

So I'm new to making bows and I'm having trouble on the riser specifically the cutting it out and keeping it smooth my bandsaw is a junk craftsmant  but I've made well tried to make six risers so far this one turned out the best will it work even with this little u evenin this one part j don't wanna do a complete biuld up and ruin my limbs and such well I can't figure out how to upload a pic but pretty much the saw went deeper on one part there is about 1/8-1/4" dimple and I can't San it out anymore will this work it is located just befor the center line on riser on the belly side

If you are building a glass laminated bow, the riser has to be fitted to the form.

It's kind of hard to give advice without seeing a picture of it and more of a description about the design of the bow.

When I cut out a riser on the bandsaw, I stay about 1/8" away from my pencil line and then use a spindle sander for inside fadeout curves and a disk sander for outside curves to get to the final shap.  Like James said, the riser needs to be fitted to the form or you won't get good glue joints.
