I finished spraying the final coat of satin buffalo hide last night. Talk about a learning curve!! How long should I wait to string and shoot the bow? The label say fully cure in 7 days. I'm anxious to shoot it and post pics! Sent Big Jim an email but he's out till the 24th.

Depending on Humidity wait the 7 days to be safe, same with our Thunderbird

You can speed up the time by putting it in a low temp oven, but you got to be careful.

If you are spraying in temps of 72 deg F or above and humidity isn't super bad where it is curing, you can string in 24 hours with no worries.

I have never ever had an issue stringing it that soon and have even done it sooner than that since my shop is ideal MC and used to heat my spray room.

When in doubt, wait 48 hours...hard to even scratch it after that!
