Looking good Kelly. I'd be proud to take it out after a couple beers ..... Couldn't resist.

But seriously, that came out really nice. Someone's gonna really love that bow.

Well I got my floppy rest glued on along with antler tips. I need to get the scales off the skin. I think this fella was about to shed and that is not as easy to remove as the normal stuff.

I have not seen others report in. I hope to get mine on its way very soon. it has been too long.

Maybe reaching out to the others that haven't checked in... Seems to seriously be stalling with people hanging in limbo... Can't wait to see yours completed!

Roy from Pa

It has been way too long for many folks waiting on a bow. I will never, ever, enter another bow swap again. I got a bow and I sent a bow a long time ago....

This is B.S.

Probably my first and last one Roy. Not that I need another bow but I worked hard to make mine on time and expected the same effort back.

Hate to say it but I'm with the two of ya too

I feel bad for those still waiting...I sent my bow out on May 3rd and received a bow on the 17th of May. That is how is is supposed to work out for everyone.

Are there any who are in danger of not getting a bow?

If so, I will volunteer another one....

While I will agree that this swap has stretched far past what it should have, I wouldn't go as far as stating that I'd never join a swap again. I know that I was one of the tardy participants, but sometimes things happen beyond our control. And not all of us have the skill or time to whip up a masterpiece, like some of the more experienced bowyers here.  I'd rather wait for a well built bow, than receive something with less than the best effort that my builder could provide.

After all, most of us, I'd reckon, join these swaps because it gives us an excuse to build another bow, and make someone happy with our hard work. Sure, it's nice to receive a bow in return, and it's a chance to get our hands on something different. To see someone else's idea of a good bow, and provide us with ideas on the next type of bow that we'd like to try and build.

That being said, I do not appreciate the lack of updates from those yet to deliver! You made a commitment to someone, and I'd expect the decency of a little communication! Trust is paramount to the success of these swaps, and it is of utmost importance to the members of Tradgang!
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.
