bow oven temps/cool down

well i finished my oven. 60f in garage, it got up to 183f and stayed there. shut her off and was down to 60f in half an hour. is that too fast? worried that quick of cooldown may do something i won't like.

selfbow guy, so im a bit new to this "modern" stuff.  ;)

It will be fine.  Just leave it in the oven for a while longer.  Your thermometer in the oven will show a quick cool down, but your form will hold heat for a lot longer, so the bow itself didn't cool down to 60F that fast.

was a test run to see how well the oven heated up. no bow in there yet. finishing up the presses today.
