I got back from Denton Hill today.  I finally got to meet Brad Jansen in person.

He posts from beautiful bows on here, but man, you gotta see one in person.  NICE!

He and Thad caught up to our group on one of the courses and they got to see me put a nice shot on a deer.  So I'm feeling that this is the way to impress my fellow builders here on the the bench.  But then I completely flubbed the next target and looked like I never shot a bow before       So they got to see the best and worst of my shooting ability.

Don't worry, I think that happens to a lot of us more often than we like it should. If you spend a lot time building bows there's less to shoot them...    :D    :D    :D

Now that I have the shop wired I am getting ready to build some glass bows..just ordered $120 of 6" tall sanding sleeves for my spindle sander along with a few zirconium sanding belts for the edge sander. I'm wanting to make a couple of new forms too, thinking about building some ILF limbs..Helen is into the Olympic style bows now.

Any body used purple heart as lams? Got an idea for a 'ladies' bow with charcoal actionwood and purple heart riser and thought I might try it as belly lams too, and was wondering about its properties as such.

Few shots of recent bow with charcoal actionwood with osage I beam. Mosaics of purple heart and silver Ash, and hairy oak belly lams. Antler on ramp overlays and hairy oak and osage overlays on back of bow. 65# at 28'' and 62 NTN.

Hell Bob that riser is incredible... someones would say to fancy- but I tend too say there is no TOO fancy^^

Thank you Trux, Beachbow hunter and John. Trux, its your work with mosaics that led me to play with some myself. Really like their effect.
