I agree, send them to Roy!  Those would make some really pretty lams for that glass bow he's always wanted to build.     :biglaugh:
It's hard to make a wooden bow which isn't beautiful, even if it's ugly.

Sam I think a link to the discussion of purpleheart on your site would also get the point across.

It turns so dark under clear glass, I doubt you'd see much of that figure after a short while.

It looks good in risers. I happen to like purpleheart.    :knothead:

I agree- it does look good as a riser... But not one of my favorites to work with.

DelawareDave

I'm still not sure what possessed me to buy these.. I built a speargun out of purple heart and red heart a few years ago and buy the time I was done with it I swore I would not work with it again.... I guess a few years has helped me forget how much of a pain in the butt it is to cut and sand....  :)

You could send it all to me and I'll get rid of it for you  :)
No use you spending all the time and hassle on it.  You can thank me later  :p

One of two things will happen; it'll either work or it won't.

Risers! You have many risers that can be glued up with that would. Or cut the stuff up into riser block and sale it. You could likely double you $ invested.

Or send it to roy!
