Hello everyone, got a question...
I am a huge Harry Elburg fan and bought many of his bow making items that didn't go to Adam Proctor when he bought Harry's business. I have his "condor"  (hill style) longbow form that has 2" angle on both sides of the form, it has bolts on both sides that are parallel the full length of the form, you use wing nuts and steel 1"x3" cross blocks to clamp you lams down.

Harry said this was his favorite way due to "these don't leak air!"  I have only used air hose and spring clamps...anyone used this style?

If I could figure out how to post pics, I will do so.

Haven't used that style but my initial take is this ... if your fit is perfect, You should be ok.

My work is typically not perfect, I'd consider putting a strip of heavy foam or rubber in between the bow and one side of the form in order to ensure even pressure.

That is a good idea. I am wanting to build a longbow on it, just worried about how clamping too tight. And getting uneven glue lines
