Finished up a bow today. Tried some snake skins on this one. Cane brake skins on black glass back and Osage and clear glass on the belly, action boo core. Coca bola riser and Osage stripe with beaver tail grip. 64" 45@28
Sorry about the cellphone pics

This is sweeet! Is it possible to put the skin within the glass?

Magnum in Ms

MoeM  I don't think it would hold together with the skins under the glass. I sprayed 5 coats of Big Jims Buffalo Hide gloss and a coat of satin on the skins and 3 coats on the rest of the bow. It is the same as Thunderbird epoxy. It should be protected pretty good. This is just my 3rd glass bow so I am new to all this.

Wow that's a great looking bow especially for "just" your third bow! Dang man you gotta be proud of that one!
Most people get rich by making more money than they have needs, me, I just reduced my needs!

Super job on that bow and that's just your third? You are a very fast learner. Still thinking on trying a 'glass bow just can't get up the nerve.

Thanks guys.  If it weren't for the great bowyers here on Trad Gang sharing info I would still be making a mess of fire wood

That's a great bow. My third wasn't nearly that good. For that matter neither was my last...
