I have made a few bows with the same amount of r/d glued in.  I have two hickory backed cherry blanks that I glued up for a prospective trade bow.  One lifted a splinter in the hickory and I started working the other one and have found that one limb is holding a lot more reflex than the other.  While strung one limb has the "D" profile while the other shows a fair amount of reflex still in the limb.  Is there any fix to this or do I need to scrap it and start another blank?  Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Tiller it out so both limbs are bernding the same.
 What glue did you use?

Also to add,  I pulled it on the tree to about 16" and both tips seemed to stay even throughout.  I had done a bunch of sanding because the limbs had some twist and noticed the difference when it was on the tree.  It appears to be close to the final desired weight.

How is each limb bending between the handle and tips? Are both bending evenly?

Thanks for the help Pat.  I got them to be pretty even but it took off a lot of weight.  Also I can't seem to get the hickory and cherry to get along.  It's my third try and and I always seem to get chrysals(sp) on the belly.  I don't think this was the best cherry either it seemed way too soft.

I think I'll go back to HBH. lol

Scott, sand the chrysals out of the cherry and add a more compression strong belly lam and retiller as a tri-lam.

Good idea Pat.  I'll try that . It sounds like a good experiment for me since I have never done a tri-lam.  I'll put it on the shelf for now and wait until after I make another bow for the swap.
