Kelly, I think next year we should draw straws and someone makes a second bow to go to you for managing this three ring circus! Great work, I know we all appreciate it.

What do you guys think about the idea of putting our efforts together and build a bow for Kelly all together ?

Interesting idea. How would it work?

Everybody who wants to participate can ether sponsor or donate some material ( lams, glass, arrows... ) or do some work on the bow, like glue up, sand the limbs or other.

Is this going to be kinda like that car Johnny Cash spirited out of the plant in Detroit?  :biglaugh:

I'm way to young to get that reference monterey, but I think the idea is pretty cool! Granted it's going to cost $1million in shipping by the time the bow is done, we can each take one scrape with the rasp, but I think it'd be a fun thing to do anyway .... a nice little twist to the swap.

Granted I'm a little nervous so throw my handiwork in with some of you guys out there (Andy) who actually know what the hell they're doing, but what the heck! Wont be my bow in the end anyway! HAHAHA

I thanked Kelly two years ago with a BBO:)

Well, as Joe has pointed out. I am delivered. I feel terrible that I could not get a bow finished and had to pass on the bow I got from Dave. It is a tremendous bow and am glad that Joe will have such a wonderful weapon. I can't thank him enough for giving me the bow that he did. It was completely un-necessary but greatly appreciated. Thanks again to Kelly and Sticks for the work they do on this swap. If I participate next year, I will definitely make their lives easier by getting my bow done early.
Enjoy the bow Joe.

I agree he sure does need something to show a little appreciation for all the work that goes into this.  Let me know if I can help somehow.

Your kinds words and a 100% successful swap is all I need. But I thank you for your thoughts.

Roy and that bow is in my top 3 favorites. Heck I have had offer to buy it off me as high as $700. I must admit I thought about it for a split sec but then thought how much it would cost to get off roy's thumping list! not worth it.

Roy from Pa

Kelly,  the reason I made it for you is worth 10 times that my friend:) You ever sell that bow and I will pay you a visit and whoop your arse, BOY:)

KellyG

Roy she is not going anywhere. But you are welcome to come out anytime.

Sticks and Kelly, you both deserve tremendous credit for your efforts and hard work. You are prime examples of why this site works so well.
Thanks to you both!   :notworthy:
