What do you all recommend for a pin-type moisture meter?

I use the Mini Ligno. I don't know that there is much difference. Remember that you only get surface readings I keep using it right to first stringing. If I get a reading greater than I want I stop and let the stave dry. They are available at 3 Rivers who are sponsors. I just checked on both counts. Price seems good. Jawge

Nothing against Harbor Freight, but I suggest buying a little better meter. Your going to have it a long long time.

You also want a meter that gives readings from 5 or 6-20%. Jawge
