Hey frosty the B man,

Well, I gotta admit I forgot all about this bow.  Been busy putting down a hardwood floor in the new house.  Gonna move in one of these years.  The bow is osage harvested in Okie land in 09. Chased a ring down and backed with walnut.  Stave? yes.  Nice and old and gold.  She is almost done.  Need to get a string on her.  I'm thinking of making a string for it out of padauk.  I'll post more soon.

Well I have had a few beers since this old project started.  I'm glad someone caught the oddities.  Padauk for a string??  WTHeck!  Here is where I'm at with the bow.
Here it is all clamped up tight to a thin strip of black walnut.

Yeah, osagetree you would be right.  I'm going to put the bow in the floor.  The bow goes into a field of birds-eye maple, with an arrow inside of the bow. Bow is walnut and osage, string is pauduk, arrow shaft redwood, point is purple heartwood, and fletching I don't know yet. This project has taken SOME time to execute.  I'll make sure to show ya all when it is done.
