Hey all.  I'm a new member here at Trad Gang.  Been reading posts for while now and decided to join the fun.  I've been making self bows for about 17-18 years now.  Just finished one today.  Osage.  68". Straight Stave.  6" handle (usually make them 5".  Will from now on I believe).  1.5" to mid limb, straight taper to 1/2" nocks.  Lot's of kinks in the limbs I had to work around, especially the bottom limb.  51# at 27".  Whisper quiet .  No hand shock at all.  Interesting piece of "Bodark".  
 Started 2 Hackberry bows today.  One for me and one for my six year old boy.  Getting him started early!  [/IMG]  [/IMG]  [/IMG]  [/IMG]  [/IMG]
