I built this one for a gentleman in Arizona who is forging me a longsword.  It's 66 ttt. 1 5/8 wide.  Pulls 53@28.  I built a dozen arrows for him too. Popular with reinforced selfnocks wieghing in 560 grains.  With those arrows the bow shot 140 fps at my draw lenght of 27.  Overall I am very pleased.  In the first pic is the first bow I built for him.  I cracked the belly during the process of flipping the tips but went ahead and finished it out.  It shoots too but I didn't want to send it to him so I done up another.  Here's some pics.

Great looking bow and arrow combo. The background in the photo looks like a great place to live. Peaceful and quite I'll bet.

It has taken about 1 1/2 of set.  It started with about 3 inches of relfex and still has about 1 1/2.  This is how I measured it...layed down belly up and measure from the floor/table up to the back of the grip.  I am really pleased with this bows side profile.  The best I've pulled off yet for sure.  My bows usually wind up with an inch or two of string follow.  Putting in the reflex helped this one I think.

Yea I was impressed as I just finished my second hickory bow and got only an inch of set but I had to make the handle work to get that.  My first bow took 3" and so I just don't shoot it.
Your under 2" wide and stiff handle so I thought that was good.  Must have tillered it well.  Good job.

Cool looking bow - I like that stained handle too.

Nice bow, nice land. Are you also packing some heat on your hip?

Nice bow with very good tiller. It ought to shine out in Arazona where the humidity is low. Don't be surprised if it picks up weight out there. Maybe as much as 10#.

The gentleman I built it for said he could pull whatever I could build.  I think I built it where it won't pick up enough weight to cause any damage.  I kept it in the hot box at 120, around 45%.  I hope it works.

He's working on it.  I'll post pic when I get it.  Don't have any idea when that'll be though.

briarjumper12 was just wondering how wide your handle is I'm working on one very similar and don't know how thin to go
