hi all,

this is experimentan fig tree bow that i have done it while i am bored of coding computing bla bla at working place.
i am still trying to settle new work so making this gave me some hope when i am dealing with it.

it was fig sapling in the first place and it was not straight.

these holes came out when i am shaping the limbs. they are soft part of the sapling in very center! i do not know what is it called. (maybe can somebody tell me)

and this i from other limb.

i did not tiller yet. even i did not put a string yet. and it is not finished yet.

hope you enjoy.

Ink, Those holes in the center are called the pith, (probably not the technical name though) and they usually run from end to end.  They are much more noticeable on some trees than others.  Like Sticks said, if there on the belly they should be ok.....Dan
