Never heard of it, does it have another name, and is it specific to your area?

I did a little reading about this today...jujube wood is used for bowls, violins, a flute like wind instrument.. it's fruit can be dried or eaten fresh.. it's also known as "Chinese date"

I have one in my backyard, I think I am going to limb let it dry and see what happens, worst case, maybe I can use it for tips or accent wood.

Do it!  I would imagine any fruit tree wood could be coaxed into a bow.
