The first project is from a 2" osage pole that Mike McGuire gave me at last years Tenn. Classic. It was cut about a month before he gave it to me. When I got home I sawed it in half lengthwise, put spacers between the two halves and bound them back together. I did this so it would dry without twisting or taking on too much backset. After a few months I removed the bark and sealed the back with shellac. Today I tapered the last 8" of each limb to 1" for now. The pole half is 64"t/t and 1 5/8" at the center...

The next project is from a blank Keenan gave me at last years Classic. It is yew and in a Pacific Northwest style, 47"t/t and 2 1/4" at the widest point on each limb. The sapwood was pretty thick so I reduced it down quite a bit. I plan to sinew back this bow.
