Finished my first TD recurve on 11-01-2011.
58", Hard rock Maple limbs w/ bubinga riser.
51# @ 28"
Will post better pics later, all I have now is a couple pics of my first deer, a nice doe, my first Trad Bow kill, on 11-11-2011.
It was an unbelievable experience, a huge rush of adrenaline, finally one of my dreams come true. To take a deer with a bow I made.
Thanks to many of you here along the way to this momentus occasion, and God Bless.

My little helper. He helped me skin her, with his table/butter knife.
Step lightly, and shoot a trad bow.

Great job it is so great to doing that, I did not think hunting could get better, until this year when I took my first trad animal. It too was with a bow I made myself.

It is a great feeling is it not.

Congratulations on a fine doe.

Swissbow

Congrats for a great job ( the bow and the deer ). I bet the youngster is very proud of his dad.

PEARL DRUMS

Best doe ya' ever killed I bet? Good job on getting the first one of the press to stay together.

Blue EagleBum

Thanks, again fellas. Yes Pearl Drums, it was the best doe, best deer for that matter, I have ever taken. Definitely a great feeling KellyG. And my helper, Brycen (6)and his older brother, Tyler (11), have been regulars at the meat shop since they were born basically.
Step lightly, and shoot a trad bow.
