Okay, I have tried to find verathane to spray the skins that I am glueing to my bow but I can't find any.  Is there anything else out there that I can buy in a spray can that will work?

Any spray poly will work. Helmsman is good outdoor stuff. Tru Oil is the best in my book, but its rubbed on.

i used tru-oil on the one I just completed and it worked great.

I always use Tru-Oil. If I want to reduce the shine I'll do a quick spray of satin poly over the Tru-Oil.

I seen spray on tru oil somewhere but can't remember for sure. Might check Raptor archery. He's a sponsor here.

I put no less than 6-8 coats of Tru Oil over skins. I dont want a stitch of moisture getting under it and lifting them.

Spray tru-oil can be found at woodcraft, they also have the regular tru-oil.

I love fools' experiments. I am always making them.

In use 5 to 6 coats of Tru-Oil too. I like to apply it with my finger one thin layer at a time with a good buffing with OOOOsteel wool between coats.
