I am making a black walnut flat bow. I want to back it with hickery but am new to the art of bow building. There are a ton of glues out there. Witch one would you recommend. Thank you for the help.
Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

For me I use Smooth-On EA 40 but I make glass bows. Whenever I have scrap cutoffs from making a riser and there is a glue joint I love to try to break the  glue joint. The samples never break at the glue joint. The Smooth On is a little expensive but when compared to a the value of a great shooting, home made bow that will last, it is well worth it.

TBII or TBIII are plenty good enough to use and are easier to come by and easier to use. Cleans up with water.
