Did you spray over another finish?

Sounds like your thru put is too high, can you sand down the areas that are runny after it dries then reapply the entire bow? I would try 220 paper to get off the high spots.

Im wondering if you sprayed on to much product,i dont know any other reason it would run.Ifmixed right it drys fast,in most cases eliminating runs. You may have to adjust your spray gun.

I've never had a run Brandon.  Sounds like it's too much finish.  I have 5 lights on the bow while spraying.  I want to see all the finish build as I go along with the nozzle.  Once it's wet move on.

I have a page on "Building Directions" on my website.  Go to "Building Directions" Thumb down near the bottom for Spray the finish.  It was actually written for canned sprays but the directions for spraying Fuller Plast will be the same.

Just started a bow this week. Got talked into it by a guy at work who's made several. It's a 3 piece TD reflex. Just finished roughing out the riser. Question is, where can I pick up this Fuller Plast for my bow when I'm ready. Is it available in small quantities like a quart size?
Thanks for any info.

You guys should try this product made by ML Campbell called Krystal. it's very a water resistant conversion varnish that is seriously user friendly, and holds up great in the feild.

you still need to get your air:material mixture going right and learn to do a couple light coats, instead  one wet coat..... but when it comes time to sand this stuff, it's excellent. MUCH easier to handle than fullerplast.

you can spray 3 coats and touch sand this stuff or use steel wool on it in 30 minutes time. start to finish you can do a bow in two hours easily, and be shooting it.   :bigsmyl:

Didn't you switch to Krystal Marty?
